LOCATION :: KENYA, NAIROBI 

Our Client is a market leader in the real estate industry and has since realized significant growth to encompass all the major branches of Real Estate, from new property developments to selling, renting and managing property and most recently valuations and appraisals. The company has been largely in the residential market and within this sector, has worked mainly in the mid-to-top end of the market. Main areas of operation have been confined to the up-market suburbs of Nairobi, running generally West and North of the city. In order to add more value to its customers by keeping pace with the dynamism of the industry, they are seeking to fill the role of Agency Sales Manager. The role reports directly to the CEO.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  •    Execute departmental targets with while managing people to achieve financial goals
  •    Lead generation in conjunction with the internal and external agents
  •    Develop and maintain relationships with various stakeholders such as landlords, external agents and developers.
  •    Manage and motivate the sales team to effectively achieve targets as stipulated by management
  •    Effective and timely reporting on progress and make actionable recommendations
  •    Keep up to date on latest trends in the property market
  •    Run the budget for the department
  •    Drive sales across residential, commercial and developments
  •    Ability to maintain database of prospects, properties and clients and appropriately match all of them
  •    Ongoing interaction with marketing and research to build brand awareness
  •    Innovative approaches to building client relationships and providing value outside of market norms

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing/Sales or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management; real estate background an added advantage
  • Exceptional written and oral communication abilities
  • Well-spoken, articulate and a careful negotiator
  • Assertive and previous experience in closing sales
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficient with MS Office
  • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and be flexible in working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Must be flexible in terms of working hours. E.g. weekend viewing upon request by clients
  • Adept reporting skills; ability to coach and delegate effectively
  • Must be able to plan and execute work schedules
