Our Client is the largest manufacturer and exporter of corporate branded materials in the region, and they are seeking to hire a Brand Executive.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring brand visibility, brand positioning, marketing and advertising activities; together with the following:


  • Manage the marketing and brand positioning activities.
  • Collaborate with management and external agencies to develop key messaging and specific advertising campaigns across marketing channels.
  • Interface with cross-functional teams and external agencies to develop strategies and plans and act as a liaison for all external media enquiries or articles
  • Establish and maintain a consistent corporate image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging across all media marketing channels.
  • Be proactive regarding task completion and periodically advise wider team on project status, timing, resources, issues, and to deliver on-time with excellence.
  • Monitor competitor products, sales and marketing activities and trends.
  • Guide preparation of marketing and sales activity reports and presents to executive management.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products and direct market channel development activities.
  • Meet with key clients to maintain relationships and negotiate and close deals.
  • Prepare periodic market intelligence reports showing brand impact, sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
  • Develop and implement sales promotion strategies for the brand to ensure growth in revenue and market share.
  • Scout for diversification and innovative investment projects that support and ensure growth of the brand.
  • Identify and develop new markets for the brand products so as to increase the brand’s market share and sales volume.
  • Prepare and monitor the execution of sales promotion and marketing plans in East Africa.
  • Determine, in consultation with others the promotion of products to ensure awareness, competitiveness and profitability.
  • Recording and transmitting information on customer feedback, complaints and resolving disputes regarding sales and services.
  • Collecting and analyzing market trends and customer behavior to inform decision making.


  • A university Degree in Marketing or a Business related field.
  • 5 years related experience in marketing, advertising or branding.
  • Superior presentation and excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commercial acumen with excellent negotiation skills.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills including customer service skills.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong organizational, business planning and reporting skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and Computer literacy.
  • A confident and determined approach and ability and desire to sell.
  • A high degree of self-motivation and drive; with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • The capacity to flourish in a competitive environment
