JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is one of the region’s largest and most well-known retailers with interests across the GCC and Levant.
With a wealth of household named brands and a unique offering to the mid-price markets in fashion, home-ware and health & fitness the business is growing rapidly through constant innovation.
Growth in KSA and internal promotion has created the opportunity for a CFO to manage the business which has a turnover in-excess of $2bn.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for Tactical Financial Planning, Development, Evaluation and Financial Co-ordination; along with financial consolidation, analysis and reporting.
- Drive Cost Control & Cost Optimization
- Prepare and monitor monthly Cash Flow/Fund Flow statements and report on variances to budget, predicting future trends.
- Ensure timely submission of Statutory Returns and compliance of tax laws in KSA. Ensure timely completion of Statutory Audit & Retail Audit.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of Post Qualification Experience
- Have managed a business with $1bn turnover
- Have worked in and understand a matrix structure
- KSA experience is highly desirable
- Experience in Consumer Goods and Retail knowledge would be a distinct advantage.
