JOB DESCRIPTION
Our client is a retail/wholesale distributor of electronics with a growing network of stores throughout Iraq.
Based in Erbil, Kurdistan they are looking appoint a Financial Controller with heavy emphasis on commercial issues.
Reporting to the Group CFO you will be responsible for a team of accounting professionals that will look after the day to day reporting and accounting.
You will be focussed on commercial issues such as developing procedures to measure performance and growth as well as budgeting and forecasting.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You will be a qualified accountant preferably from a European/Western background
You will have significant retail accounting experience, electronics would be a bonus, and will understand that despite its troubled history Iraq presents a “greenfield” business opportunity
