Our Client is a leading supplier of flexible packaging and is the Industry leader in the local paper bags market and the leading supplier of quality labelling and packaging. They are looking for a Sales Account Manager to further expand sales in Kenya by developing and maintaining good relationships with their customers.
JOB DESCRIPTION
You will be executing their sales plan and maintaining (part) of their existing client base. You have experience and a good track record selling packaging and shrink sleeve labelling especially to the dairy and beverage industry.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- You have good understanding of the production of flexible packaging, coating and labelling, especially shrink sleeve labelling.
- You understand their customers’ needs and are able to tailor their products to those needs.
- You provide excellent customer service by addressing and resolving customer queries/issues in a timely manner.
- You are dynamic and well versed with the Ugandan, Tanzanian and Ethiopian Markets.
- You have good communication and negotiation skills and are motivated to boost customer relations and sales.
- You are fluent in English and have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- You can work independently and are able to maximize “return on time invested”.
- You will be required to travel regularly to trade hubs and business development portals for business.
- After each visit you write a report on activities, customer needs, problems, competitor activity and the potential for new products.
- You have a car and a valid drivers-license and are willing to travel extensively.
- You have at least 3-5 years of experience in Sales Account Management .
- You have experience and a good track record selling packaging and labelling products

- Must have a relevant University Degree.
- Well groomed, excellent communication and presentation skills.
