Our Client is one of Kenya’s leading interior design and furniture manufacturing companies and is looking to hire a Sales Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine annual and gross profit plans by forecasting and developing annual sales.
- Projecting expected sales volume and profits for existing and new products.
- Analyzing trends and results.
- Establishing pricing strategies.
- Monitoring costs, competition, supply, and demand.
- Improving product marketability and profitability by researching, identifying, and capitalizing on market opportunities.
- Prepare Quotations.
- Communication with the clients updating the job status
- Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts, soliciting new accounts, building rapport, providing technical information and explanations on products and services we offer.
- To maintain business relationships with current customers and prospective individual customers in construction, real estate and co-operate market, to generate new business for the variety of products and services offered by the company.
- Work with Designers to creatively formulate a practical aesthetic design to suit the space and render the ideas for costing and presentation to client for approval.
- Coordinate sales effort with management, accounting, logistics and production after approval of a project.
- To be actively involved in the production process (quality inspection), site work inspections to ensure proper workmanship in order to meet the deadline agreed upon for a smooth handover of a project and payments.
- To expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints if any arises.
- To plan and organize personal sales strategy by maximizing the Return on Time Investment on the potential clients, ongoing projects and market segments.
DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales developing new business and growing accounts.
- Experience in interior design or project management a plus
- Customer & employee focus.
- Experienced business developer, understands process, timescales, clients and markets.
- Ability to handle large amounts of complex information in a detailed and coordinated manner.
